Store Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) safely: cool, dry, ventilated areas under 30℃, humidity <75%. Keep away from sunlight, heat, flames. Use alkali-resistant floors, leak-proof bunds. Isolate from acids, oxidizers, flammables, metals, food. Use sealed, corrosion-resistant containers: galvanized drums for solids, HDPE barrels for liquids, with "Corrosive Substance" labels. Wear protective gear, inspect for leaks. Neutralize spills with dilute acetic acid, dispose per regulations.

Follow strict protocols: wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles, face shields, clothing. Work in ventilated areas or fume hood. Dilute KOH into water slowly, stirring constantly; never add water to KOH. Avoid mixing with acids, oxidizers, metals. Seal containers post-use. Rinse skin/eyes with water 15+ min if contact occurs.
