Ensure safe storage of highly corrosive, hygroscopic KOH. Keep in a cool, dry, ventilated warehouse below 30℃ and 75% humidity, away from sunlight and heat. Floors must be alkali-resistant with spill containment. Isolate from acids, oxidizers, flammables, metal powders, and food to prevent reactions. Use sealed, corrosion-resistant containers: galvanized drums for solids, HDPE barrels for liquids, labeled "Corrosive Substance." Wear protective gear during handling, inspect for leaks. Neutralize spills with dilute acetic acid and dispose per regulations.

KOH is highly corrosive; follow strict protocols. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles, face shields, and impermeable clothing. Work in a ventilated space or fume hood. Slowly dilute KOH in water with stirring; never add water to KOH to avoid heat and splashing. Avoid acids, oxidizers, or metals. Seal containers after use. If contact occurs, rinse with water for 15+ minutes, seek medical help. Dispose of waste per local regulations.
