Ensure safe storage of KOH, a corrosive, hygroscopic base. Store in cool, dry, ventilated areas below 30℃, humidity under 75%, away from sunlight, heat, and flames. Floors must resist alkali, with bunds for spills. Isolate from acids, oxidizers, flammables, metals, and food. Use sealed, corrosion-resistant containers: galvanized drums for solids, HDPE barrels for liquids, labeled "Corrosive Substance". Wear protective gear, check containers for leaks. Neutralize spills with dilute acetic acid, dispose properly.

Follow strict protocols for KOH, a strong corrosive. Wear full protective gear: gloves, goggles, shields, clothing. Work in ventilated space or fume hood. Dilute KOH slowly in water with stirring—never add water to KOH to avoid heat/splashing. Avoid acids, oxidizers, metals. Seal containers after use. For contact, rinse with water 15+ mins, seek medical help. Dispose waste per regulations.
